Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trendle ("Trendle," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website and lead-generation service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, password hash, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google account identifier.
  • Targeting input — the niche, offer, ideal-customer profile, and topics you provide so we can find relevant prospects.
  • Prospect data — information about individuals who publicly engaged with relevant LinkedIn content (name, headline, profile URL, role, company, and, on paid plans, business contact details such as email and phone). See section 5.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — log, device, and analytics data generated as you use the Service, used to operate, secure, and improve it.

2. How we use data

We use personal data to provide and operate the Service (finding, ranking, and enriching prospects), to process payments, to communicate with you, to provide support, to maintain security and prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Service providers (subprocessors)

We share data with vetted providers strictly to run the Service. These include Supabase (database hosting), Vercel and Railway (application hosting), Apify (LinkedIn data collection), Anthropic (AI scoring and content generation), FullEnrich and People Data Labs (contact enrichment), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google (OAuth sign-in), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each processes data only as needed to deliver their function.

5. Data about prospects

Trendle surfaces individuals based on their public engagement with LinkedIn content relevant to your business, and may append business contact details. We process this data under legitimate interest for B2B prospecting. If you are a prospect and wish to access, correct, or delete your data, contact us at the address below and we will honor applicable rights. As a customer, you are responsible for using prospect data lawfully — including compliance with applicable marketing, anti-spam, and data-protection laws when you reach out.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service, plus limited analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
